Treatable Area
Almost all areas of the body are treatable
Laser Hair Removal & Skin Rejuvenation Center offers the most advanced laser treatments for all levels of skin color. All different hair types can be treated from light brown fine hairs to thick coarse dense hairs
How does laser hair removal work?
The laser heats your hair follicle with infrared energy while targeting your unwanted hairs. This laser is capable of treating many hair follicles at one time, making the treatment of large areas very tolerable. Your laser hair removal treatments may be spaced 3 to 8 weeks apart. A personalized regimen will be designed for you at your skin care consultation. Several treatments are needed to be effective in reduction. Your esthetician will advise you on how many treatments are appropriate for the area you are having treated.
How much hair will grow back and how fast?
After each treatment, there will be a reduction of hair anywhere from 20% to 30%. After each treatment, you will notice the hair will still grow for approximately two weeks. After that, your hair will start to "shed". How much hair you have in the anagen phase at the time of the treatment will dictate the amount of hair loss there is.
How can I get the best value for my treatments?
Avoid waxing, sugaring, tweezing or anything that pulls the hair out from the root. The areas to be treated should be protected from the sun including no exposure to tanning beds or outdoor tanning. Protect the area with an SPF of 30 or more. If you are dark skinned or have an old tan you can still safely have treatments with our machine.
How can I prepare myself for my laser hair removal treatment?
To be prepared for your laser hair removal procedure, the areas being treated need to be shaved 24 hours prior, for optimum results. Do not use any Retin-A, retinols, glycolic, AHA's or any skin topical that provide a tingly sensation to the skin on the area(s) being treated one week prior to your treatment.
